Moinhos do Dão is situated right on the river Dão, just outside the small village Tibaldinho.

NOTE: The last 2 km. the path is not suitable for cars with caravan or big motorhomes!

Take the exit 21/N16 on the A25/IP5 (= Fagilde). Drive through Fagilde and go right at roundabout in the direction of Vila Garcia. Follow road until the small Rua Escola (is second right). Top left, keep following this road. Road drops down into the village and follow the tar road between yellow houses, right down. Follow road through the pine forest. At the end of the paved road, take the hairpin turn left and follow the dirt road (from here it is another 2 km. with some narrow and winding parts: drive carefully). Then, before the wall at the "Convento" right, across the stream. On the main path always keep right. After about 1 km. the trail goes sharply down. Pass our neighbors (a white, restored house and a farm). Here, in the yard, sharp left and follow the path (through the grape fields) to the river below all the way up to the split path/parking. Park your car and walk towards miller homes. Along this route to the Moinhos do Dao you'll find several light blue marks.
